Durango Rotaract has been established the longest of the 3 district 5470 clubs, and through their hard work, focus and continued variety of fundraisers they just returned the middle of March 2010 from Ecuador.  This being their 2nd Ecuador visit for their ongoing international service project, La Trinca for Mana Amigo Foundation.  Having started as a University or College based club, the longstanding core members and dedicated officers chose this past year to change the club to a "Community Based" club in 2009.

With a schedule of fundraisers ranging from softball games and speed dating to working with local Rotary clubs for Monte Carlo Night and Redball Express, this Rotaract club first sponsored by the Durango High Noon club, has branched out to work with and gain support from other area Rotary clubs.  Their service projects include working with the Manna Soup Kitchen, Liberty School reading program and Bowl for Kids Sake just for starters. We will be sharing more about the Ecuador trip and Durango Rotaract club in future updates.

Current President Katie Zortman inspires and leads the Durango Rotaract club.
