Sandhill Crane and Water Bird Alamosa Fiesta  March 2-3, 2019   View flocks of the 20,000 majestic Sandhill Cranes as they migrate through the wetlands near Alamosa.  Hear their bugling mating call and watch their graceful mating dance.  Gaze through binoculars, photograph, and learn behaviors and mating rituals of hundreds of wetland birds. Tour the Sand Dunes National Monument, the San Luis Valley Alligator Farm and bask in a local Hot Spring resort.  Although university credit is available for teachers, the instructor Melanie Phelps, is donating profits to PW Rotary International Project.    Special family rates:  One adult without graduate credit - $135.  Couple - $200. Family rate $250.  Includes Sandhill Crane tour, Sand Dunes National Monument, Alligator Farm and Hot Springs entrance fees.  Does not include lodging in Alamosa. 

A fundraiser for the Pueblo West Rotary – all profits go to our International Project of building a water well in TerraBonna Nicaragua, a village of 250 people who have no access to clean, potable running water.
