District Governor 2020 - 21 Chip Ecks


Forrest “Chip” Ecks graduated from Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York, with a BA in Mathematics.
After college he pursued a career in the Army and retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
He earned his Masters of Science in Human Resource Management and Organizational Development at
Chapman University.

After successful careers in the Financial Services sector, as a faculty member for the University of Phoenix,
HR Consultant, and high school math tutor, he left the active work force.
Chip has been deeply involved as a volunteer in his local school district, serving on several committees over the
past twenty years. He is a past president of the Kissing Camel Sertoma club and the Pikes Peak Chapter of the
American Society for Training and Development.
Chip joined The North Colorado Springs Rotary Club in 2005 and after a break in service in 2007, rejoined in 2013.

 He is a Rotary Leadership Institute faculty member, High Country PETS facilitator and the
Chair of District 5470 Administration and Management Committee.
He is a Past President of the North Colorado Springs Rotary Club. Chip and his wife Pam have two adult sons and three grandchildren.
They have lived in Colorado Springs since 1986.
